Direct Support Professionals      

*  Mental Retardation Residential

*  Mental Retardation Community Services

*  Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician Residential

Duties include working with our participants and assisting them with daily living skills, cleaning (residential), cooking and community activities. Direct Support Professionals also provide community safety skill building and gate keeping skills and work with participants to meet their individual needs for daily living and increase their independence.

Direct Support Professionals with Fluent ASL Skills

We are looking for people with fluent American Sign Language skills to work with a deaf client who has mental retardation. Hours available include days and evenings.

A clean Maine driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required for transporting participants – we reimburse you for miles driven.

Generous benefits begin at 20 scheduled hours per week.  Benefits include Free Dental and Life insurance for employees working 20 scheduled hours per week, and Health, Short Term Disability, and 401(k) are available.  For employees working 35+ scheduled hours a week: three weeks* vacation, one week* sick time, 10 paid holidays and Flexible Spending Account.  For employees working 20-34 scheduled hours a week: 6 days* vacation, 2.5 days* sick time and 5 paid holidays.
